Description:

aa IMG 2465 01 1The well-known acoustic soloist, Timothy Seaman, will perform at the Northumberland County Historical Society on Saturday, July 24th at 1:30 p.m. The title of his performance and presentation is: “Colonial Historic Triangle.”  It will emphasize music to celebrate Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown.

Tim is a specialist in musical themes involving Virginia, Celtic roots, folk hymns, parks and nature. His musical talents include playing on the hammered dulcimer, bamboo or silver flute, the bowed psaltery as well as vocal renditions. His musical genre is his own self-styled blend of Appalachian, Classical, Celtic and contemporary.  Tim introduces his selections with stories, details, history, and humor. This adds to an already sparkling performance.

After teaching English and music for nineteen years, Tim turned his attention to performing. Since 1993, he has delighted audiences over 250 times a year. In addition, he has recorded more than 20 CDs of his unique blend of music. Please make plans to attend his performance on April 19th for a thoroughly enjoyable Sunday afternoon.
